Christmas Eve at Dell’s Children’s Hospital

On Christmas Eve the Jennifer Wilks Foundation helps those families on the Oncology unit at the Dell Children’s Hospital. We provide a steak and shrimp dinner with all the trimmings for the families. We also let the parents fill out a Christmas list for the cancer child and it’s not just a gift, it’s what they want for Christmas.

Mary and I understand firsthand how special this is for the child, sibling, and for the parents.

On the Calendar Every Month….
Dinner Every Wednesday – On the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays of each month we take dinner to the families on the Oncology unit at the Dells Children’s Hospital. We feed 30 to 45 people each week.
 

1st Wed –
FIREHOUSE SUBS – Ham & Turkey Sandwiches, Chips & Drinks are served from 5pm to 7pm in the Family Room (4 north)

 

3rdWed –
BUSH”S Crispy Chicken Tenders, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans & Rolls are served from 5pm to 7pm in the Family Room (4 north)

 

4th Wed –
THIRD BASE – Sliders (Mini Hamburgers) Mini Corndogs & Homemade Chips are served from 5pm to 7pm in the Family Room (4 north)

 

5th Wed –
PIZZA HUT – Pizza are served from 5pm to 7pm in the Family Room (4 north)
