Benefiting the new Dell Children’s Hospital and the charities
that helped Jennifer and the family during her fight with leukemia.

Friday April 23, 2010 – 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM SHOT GUN START
Scramble Format – Food, Golf Towel, Hat and Goodie Bag included

Lunch for the AM Group and Dinner for the PM Group

Imagine the stress of having a child who is undergoing treatment for cancer. 
Add to that the stress of missing work for weeks on end while living in a hospital room with your child who is fighting for his life. What will you do with your other children? How will you pay for daily parking and other expenses? Who will be there to help you and your family?

For three and a half years, the Wilks family underwent this experience with their own daughter, Jennifer. They found wonderful support from the hospital and many charities generously helped their family and kept a smile on Jennifer’s face.
After Jennifer lost her own battle with cancer, the Wilks family were moved and inspired to establish the “Jennifer Wilks Foundation” for the purpose of giving back to these charities. From this sprang the “The Jennifer Wilks Foundation’s Annual Charitable Golf Tournament”. Funds from this tournament benefit the children and families on the cancer unit at Dell Children’s hospital. Three times a month they serve dinner to the families at the hospital. They also help the ‘Hungry Bunch’ youth group for teenagers fighting cancer. They sponsor special activities on the oncology floor and help other charities as well, including: 
“Make-A-Wish” (grant a child a wish here in Austin), “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society”, “His Grace Foundation” and several cancer camps in the Austin area.

We have only 288 spots and they will be on a first come, first serve basis
Prizes will be for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams for am and pm

– $5,000 – includes tournament sponsorship of Golf Towels, 2-4 player teams, sponsorship of the Lunch and Dinner, 2-hole sponsorships, 4 Newspaper Spots and 8 Tickets to the Sponsors Dinner. (Thursday Night) Company LOGO on the Golf Towels, Banners and Programs.
– $2,500 – includes 4-player team, 1 hole sponsorship, 2 Newspaper Spots, sponsorship of the Lunch and Dinner and 8 Tickets to the Sponsors Dinner. (Thursday night) Company LOGO on the Banners and Golf Programs.
– $1,500 – includes 4-player team and sponsorship of the Lunch and Dinner. Includes 4-player team and 1-hole sponsorship and 4 Tickets to the Sponsors Dinner (Thursday night) Your compnay LOGO on the Banners and Golf Programs.
– $1,000 – includes 4-player and one hole sponsorship. Each hole will have a cancer child that you are supporting. 4 Tickets to the Sponsors Dinner (Thursday night)
– $600 – Hole Sponsorship (no golf)
– $125 – includes Golf, Lunch (am golfers) or Fajita Dinner (pm golfers), Hat, Golf Towel, Drinks, and a great goodie bag.
